After-School Enrichment Classes

Joy Lab Explorers Club

Ages 6–13 | Monday–Friday | 3:00–6:00 PM

At Joy Lab Academy, we believe children need time to move, play, explore, and recharge after a busy school day.

Our after-school enrichment program provides a safe, welcoming environment where children can discover new interests, build friendships, and grow through fun, hands-on experiences. Each day is designed to support the whole child—helping children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically while building confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

What children will experience

  • Theme-based Experiences

    Dive into Nature, STEM, Engineering, and Entrepreneurship through hands-on exploration, real-world challenges, and creative projects that build curiosity, innovation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Outdoor Exploration
    Children connect with nature through outdoor play, exploration, observation, and hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.

  • Homework & Learning Support
    Children receive guidance and support with homework while developing confidence, organization, and independent learning skills.

  • Creative & Collaborative Experiences
    Through games, projects, team-building activities, and reflection, children learn to collaborate, express themselves, and build positive relationships.

Registration

We offer flexible enrollment options of 2–5 days per week with pricing based on the number of days selected. Our after-school classes are organized into five blocks throughout the year, allowing families to choose the schedule that best fits their needs.

Homeschool Enrichment Program

Ages 6 to 13 | 2 Days Per Week | Tuesdays and Thursdays

At Joy Lab Academy, our Homeschool Enrichment Program provides children with a creative, hands-on learning experience in a supportive community for homeschool families seeking meaningful connection, exploration, and collaboration, our 2-day program offers a small, mixed-age learning environment where children learn alongside peers while receiving personalized guidance and support. The program blends academic learning with theme-based experiences, outdoor exploration, movement, and creative expression.

What Children Will Experience

  • Hands-On Learning – Engage in projects, experiments, and creative challenges that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity.

  • Personalized Learning – Receive individualized support and explore interests at a pace that supports each child's unique learning journey.

  • Inquiry & Real-World Exploration – Discover core learning concepts through meaningful questions, real-world experiences, and student-led investigations.

  • Mixed-Age Community Learning – Build friendships, collaborate with peers of different ages, and learn through shared experiences in a close-knit community.

  • Outdoor Exploration & Movement – Spend time outdoors through nature exploration, active play, and opportunities to observe, move, and discover.
